We are keenly aware of our duties and responsibilities to the environment, our employees and the community. We are committed to the following practices and principles to enable us to meet and exceed legislation and expectations.

  • Running an efficient and successful hotel operation supporting the local economy.
  • Carrying out our business via the most environmentally and socially aware practices possible.
  • Constant monitoring and updating of practices and training of staff to deliver the benefits.

Initiatives currently undertaken:

Water Conservation
  • All rooms have been fitted with water conservation filters which reduce wastage of water.
  • We encourage guests to participate in our towel recycling initiatives.
  • Water consumption is closely monitored to ensure no waste in this resource.
Energy Conservation
  • All rooms have been fitted with energy efficient lights which reduces energy consumption.
  • All equipment purchased for guest rooms are chosen with energy efficiency in mind.
  • Light sensors have been placed in strategic areas to ensure energy usage is efficient
Waste Management
  • In our endeavor to be plastic free, we have phased out water bottles being placed in room during housekeeping servicing. Drinking water filters have been placed on all floors at the lift landing available 24 hours. Our team members assist guests to refill the water jugs placed in your room on request any time.
  • All guests are encouraged to recycle their plastic through a recycle bin in partnership with Renie placed in the hotel premises.
  • Guests are encouraged to segregate waste like paper and plastics to be sent to recycle bins located in hotel premises.
  • Strategic and sustained shift to no paper policy including no printing of email communication.
  • Soap dispensers are used in bathrooms and public toilets to reduce the waste of under-utilized soap bars
Social responsibility
  • We have partnered with The Beit Al Khair society for charitable causes. We encourage our extended stay guests to donate clothes at the end of their stay.
  • All aged linen is also donated to the society on a regular basis
  • Regular participation in community drives like clean up campaigns spearheaded by local governance.
  • Amenities placed in guest rooms including food are packaged in recycled material whilst encouraging sustainable practices through printed messaging.
